Obs! Vissa har problem med att få färg med PAL konsol, medan andra inte har det problemet. Se några recensioner:

• I have an N64 PAL connected to an LCD monitor, from the N64 a PAL SVideo cable goes to the RetroScaler 2x, and from there HDMI to the monitor. The video quality has improved considerably, recommended purchase if you want to connect a retro console and don't have a CRT.

  Very good device, works and smoothes out the lines of Super Nintendo graphics perfectly. Remembering that it only works on NTSC consoles. The Super Nintendos sold in Brazil by Gradiente/Playtronic are usually all PAL-M... and they stay in black and white.

• If you are going to use it on an American Super Nintendo or Japanese Nintendo 64 (as is my case), there is a significant change in scaling. Really, if you are looking for a good "plug and play" scaling option, this is the most suitable choice. An OSSC for example requires prior configuration and is a greater investment in good Scart cables (alternative cables also work but more benefit is gained with an OSSC using quality Scart cables), without much complication the 2x retroscaler is very good scaling and if it's true scaling, be aware that it is not a simple video converter. My final recommendation is that you buy an "S Video" cable for the SNES and Nintendo 64 to get the most out of the retroscaler.

• I have tested a NES via AV, N64 via AV, and PS2 via AV and component, all of them PAL, I couldn't test S-Video because I don't have one. The display options are very intuitive and simple, it's more than enough with the 2 buttons on the case. Recommended.

Kan även kopplas vidare till RetroTink och OSSC om man har HDMI-VGA adapter.
Verkar ha fått bra recensioner för att vara en budgetprodukt som den är.
